Martin's Clerk Assistance (MCA) has been around since 2000 when I wrote the book "Understanding the Budget, Appropriations and Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources". In 2008 I expanded to make this website a member based resource center for Fiscal Officers, Clerk-Treasurers and Clerks!
Members can access the download area for one annual membership fee of $150. They are able to download "Understanding the Budget, Appropriations and Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources" as an e-book and print it right off their own printer. There are new instruction manuals in e-book format such as "What are My Duties?" that give those that are newly elected or appointed a starting point to understand their responsibilities.
In addition to the various e-books there are sample ordinances, resolutions, policies and letters that are standard to those who do governmental fund accounting. These exciting new additions are now available!
Township Fiscal Officers will be able to see me presenting the website, showing demonstrations, samples and tips at booth 33 at the Ohio Township Association Trade Show during the Annual Conference February 4-6th and I’ll be assisting with the Budget class at the State Auditor’s Annual Conference in April on the 23rd and 24th.
